Reports and documentation
V2 exposes eighteen tools and the versioned conversation resource
ui://glyphs-mcp/edit-workflow-v1.html (text/html;profile=mcp-app). The three
workflow tools provide useful text and structured state alongside the shared
interactive App. The existing v1 documentation-search tools and embedded
feedback runtime are not imported. See conversation edits.
Job reports
Compiled font comparisons add a local HTML
entry point and evidence bound to snapshotted inputs. accept_job publishes
the verified report tree to a new directory; apply_job cannot apply it.
Use get_job for progress, a compact change sample and a report path when the workflow produces a full report. Open that local artifact through your client's file tools if supported. Reports record measurements, exclusions and the scope of the result's claims.
Copy evidence you need before discarding or ending a session. Abandoned bulk artifacts are released after the worker stops using them; terminal job records remain for the session. Reports can contain local font paths and should be reviewed before sharing.
Documentation and support
- Tool reference: signatures, selectors and job kinds.
- Safety and recovery: exact restoration, conflict handling and cancellation.
- Troubleshooting: connection, installation and native worker problems.
- GitHub Issues: submit reproducible issues.
- Support the project: donations to Thierry Charbonnel.
The extension panel's heart button opens Glyphs' nonmodal Welcome/support panel with documentation, issue and support links. The local v2 desktop companion separately adds a six-slide introduction, shown on first interactive launch and replayable through File → Welcome & Support or the sidebar. Skip to setup and Start setup open Setup. See desktop behavior.
For resources exposed by the released compatibility plugin, see the v1 resource guide.
